once i've withdrawn my kiwisaver to buy a house can i start putting extra money back in voluntarily or does that change what i can do with the account?

Yep you can 👍 Using your KiwiSaver for your first home doesn’t mess with the account. Once the withdrawal’s done, it just goes back to normal. You can still: keep your usual contributions going chuck in extra whenever you want change funds etc Only real thing to know is you generally can’t use it again for another first home withdrawal (unless you qualify as a second chance buyer later on).
